Monday , 07 october 2013 me and my friends from class distribution, School of Management Transport Trisakti ( STMT Trisakti ) majors S1 – logistics a visit to some of the logistics warehousing in the area Pondok Ungu - Bekasi , which is guided by the distribution of our lecturers are: R. Didiet Rachmat Hidayat , Amd , SE , M.Si.

First visit :

PT.Kamadjaja Logistics
Kamadjaja Logistics in Pondok Ungu - Bekasi is a company 3PL (third party logistics ) in cooperation with the ARNOTTS so within the warehouse are the products of Arnotts like ( good time , stiko, nyam-nyam, etc. ) ranging from products distributed in domestic and overseas export . Kamadjaja logistics warehouse area is 6500 m2 and has 9524 vallet imported from australia .

This warehouse is divided into 2 rooms which first space for products that will be sent in domestic / local and the second room is a product that will be sent abroad ( exports ) . Kamadjaja logistics also use 2 types of single deep rack and the double deep rack . Profit taking double deep rack that can store more goods compared with the single deep rack , but the kind of double- deep rack is more likely occur with this type of accident than a single deep rack due to the process of handing will be difficult to handle .

Kamadjaja inbound logistics activities at the start of the receiving ( receiving goods ) by identifying the letters , then the calculation of the quantity received by checker manually . Goods that exist in this Kamadjaja including goods Fast Moving so this warehouse uses the term FIFO ( First In First Out ) . These items are usually no more than 2 weeks in the shed . Goods - these goods will be distributed to the MT ( Modern Trade ) such as Carrefour , alfamart , Indomart , etc. and also distributed to the GT ( General Trade ) as an agent or branch , until the distribution to the Outer Island.

PT.Agility Logistics International
Agility International Logistics is a 3PL company (third Party Logistics ) in cooperation with NIKE and Herball Life . So the Agility warehouse in Pondok Ungu - Bekasi is divided into 3 parts , namely warehouse , warehouse special Nike products ranging from Nike shoes , Nike apparel and Nike ball . The second warehouse is a repository of Herball Life products and third warehouse is a repository of Herball Life products that require special temperature / cold temperature .

In its activities , there is a process that should be carried out in the barn this agility . The first process is inbound process , as well as logistics Kamadjaja activity started from receiving inbound ( receiving goods ) to permit identification , and checking of goods . The difference in the agility warehouse item checking not manually but using RF ( Radio Frequency ) which is connected directly to the computer system in the warehouse , after the goods were GR ( Good Receiving ) then put away to Racking performed in accordance with the placement that has been set by the system . Racking is in agility only use single deep rack type because it is faster to process handling.

After that, picking process or the process of preparing the goods in accordance with the letter orders to be grouped in one carton . The goods must be in picking the items listed on the pick ticket . After picking finished then performed consul / route grouping items according to the delivery route . Once grouped within each delivery route , then do QC ( Quality Control ) is checking whether the goods are goods in accordance with the orders the company or not , by scanning barcode on the item . So that the system will reject if the barcode is scanned not in accordance with the orders of the company. After Process QC ( Quality Control ) process is completed then performed lading hand is the process by which every vallet would put cardboards that will be ready to be sent in accordance with route and schedule delivery .

And we do now is Outbound Logistics processes , starting from order processing is done in the process of making TMR ( Tranfer Manifest Report ) . In the making of 1 TMR to 1 route delivery . And then do the routing Truck items are placed in the staging area . Once the document is complete , the goods on loading into the truck according to route of delivery. After delivery , then do POD ( Proof of delivery ) is evidence of delivery of the goods.
